Jay Heyboer, Ph.D. Vice-President, Technology

Jay leads the Morpace Technology practice where he has worked with clients in the technology and telecommunications industries for nearly a decade. In this role, he has designed and analyzed many studies for mobile phones, computers, software, electronic devices, and other technology products. He is in charge of managing the monthly Omnibus surveys for the Technology practice and provides expertise on how the results can impact client sales and marketing strategies. 

In addition, Jay has more than 20 years of research experience and is recognized as an industry leader in research design and advanced analytics. He has conducted product development, segmentation, pricing, positioning, and satisfaction and loyalty modeling projects for companies not only in technology, but industries such as manufacturing, services, finance, pharmaceuticals, and retail.   

In recent years, Jay has focused on applying consumer choice to product development efforts, particularly using conjoint and choice model techniques. He has been a leading voice on the Morpace Advanced Analytics team.

Jay holds degrees from Alma College, Central Michigan University and Ohio State University. His Ph.D. is from Ohio State in Industrial Sociology.
