Research Director/Vice President of a Large-Scale Tracking Program – Automotive Team
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Research design across multiple methodologies
- Questionnaire design and development
- Report Writing
- Project Management (budget, timing and deliverables)
- Client and staff management and relationship building
Requirements
- MBA preferred - BA/BS in marketing, psychology, sociology, or anthropology
- Minimum 8 years in primary, custom market research experience; at least half in a supplier environment
- Experience with large tracking studies
- Requires extensive Automotive industry experience
- Core understanding of automotive brand and nameplate marketing issues
- Must show leadership skills and be an independent, autonomous worker
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
- Skills in mentoring and coaching staff
- Familiarity with various analytical techniques
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and math aptitude
- Staff and client management experience a must

Senior Project Director/Project Director – Large-Scale Tracking Program – Automotive Team
In this role, you will be responsible for:
•Planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing project activity to meet project goals within the prescribed time and funding parameters
•Designing, editing and verifying questionnaires, reports, presentations, and correspondence
•Monitoring custom tracking and ad hoc market research studies
•Maintaining communications with both internal and external clients
•Designing sampling and analytical plans, for review by senior staff
•Attend project and client meetings as necessary
•Maintaining accurate project records
•Monitoring project costs
•Conducting detailed analysis and report preparations
•Working on and managing multiple projects simultaneously
•Understanding industry issues in order to show expertise in automotive arena
•Some overtime may be required
Requirements
•Bachelor degree required
•3+ years of primary market research experience
•Excellent client/interpersonal skills
•Understand functions and applications of statistical software such SAS and/or SPSS, required
•Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
•Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and oral)
•Excellent organizational skills/ability to work under tight deadlines
•Able to work in a team environment
